Tancredo Neves International Airport, also known as conoco's International Airport (Confins International Airport), is a civil Airport, located 35 kilometers in the north of minas gerais state capital city of belo horizonte in Brazil , it is the gateway to the city of belo horizonte.
Since September 2, 1986, the airport has been renamed in honor of former Brazilian prime minister tancredo nevis.
The Airport is operated by BH Airport S.A.
The Tancredo Neves International Airport, built by Infraero and completed in 1984, was built primarily to ease congestion at papplia Airport.
The airport is 828 meters (2,715 feet) above sea level, and the asphalt runway 16/34 is 3,000 meters long and 45 meters wide.
In the area of freight, the airport can handle 18,000 tons of cargo transportation.
In 2016, GTA international, together with German beumer group, provided 36 sets of weighing equipment for the airport.
